BURGLARY
A man had his car valet-parked in the 400 block of East Palmetto Park Road. The car was left unlocked and his wallet was stolen from the glove box.
Someone cut through the convertible top of a car in the 5600 block of North Federal Highway. The thief rummaged through the car, but did not take anything.
Two large gun safes in a house in the 200 block of Northwest Eighth Avenue had pry marks on them and were badly damaged, but no one got into them. However, two laptop computers, an unknown amount of jewelry and possibly ammunition were taken .
VANDALISM
A project manager reported that someone trespassed onto a property in the 600 block of Northeast Fifth Avenue and removed two fire extinguishers, one from a crane and one from a barge on the property, They then sprayed the fire extinguisher foam all over the barge and crane.
CREDIT-CARD FRAUD
A dispatcher at a limousine service reported that a customer has hired a limo from them on four occasions and the dispatcher had just learned that the man was not the credit-card holder, nor was he authorized to use the card at all.
