Matthew said: "We are reworking history. The film is about an air born combination of syphilis and the plague that destroys peoples animal functions. In the latter stages of syphilis sufferers personalities change dramatically and the film is created around the idea that this is where the myth of zombies could have come from."
Matthew's started his production company, Fizz and Ginger, with partner Tori Hart two and a half years ago. The film's executive producer Margaret Matheson who worked on Scum and Sid And Nancy has been mentoring the team.
