ORGANISATIONS wishing to participate in Chocolate Winterfest at Latrobe on July 8 should contact Michelle Dutton at the Latrobe Council before the end of March to discuss their registration and opportunities available to them.

''There are many activities associated with the festival that require some pre-planning and registration, including the Chocolate Wonders of Wearable Art where garments are created that have been inspired by chocolate; the student poetry competition Chocolates in Rhyme for students from kindergarten through to Grade 12 in which trophies and cash prizes are offered, '' Ms Dutton said.

''Then there is also the Business and Employment Where's the Talent competition that is open to anyone of all ages with a talent to share.

''The winner receivies $400 and the opportunity to perform at the festival.
