Hosts Annual Oktoberfest

The Rotary Club of Palatine will be hosting their 4th Annual Oktoberfest on Friday, September 16th through Sunday, September 18th in Fireman’s Memorial parking lot on the corners of Brockway and Slade in downtown Palatine.

The public is invited to attend this free and completely tented event for authentic German music, food and activities for all. Times of the event are Friday from 4:00 PM until midnight, Saturday from noon until midnight, and Sunday from noon until 6:00 PM.

Entertainment is a large component of the weekend and kicks off on Friday with a traditional keg rolling ceremony at 5:30 PM. Die Musikmeisters will entertain the crowd from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, followed by Phenix from 8:00 PM until 12:00 AM. Saturday, crowds will be entertained from 12:00 PM until 3:30 PM with Family Day Activities including Sundling Jr. High & Quest Academy Choirs, Northwest Community Hospital Fitness Classes, face painting, hair braiding and coloring by Rue 62, massages by Healthsource and much more.
