“Going Green” will be the highlighted event on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Norristown Farm Park , Germantown Pike, East Norriton. In honor of St. Patty’s Day, the group is “thinking green.” Learn about cleaning products that are not harmful to yourself or the environment. Watch demonstrations on how to make your own cleaning solutions from simple ingredients. You will try them on tough spots. This program is for ages 12 and up, free of charge. Pre-registration is required by calling (610) 270-0215. The Indian Valley Family YMCA is hosting a St. Patty’s Day Dance on Saturday from 7-10 p.m. The dance is geared to adults age 50 and over, but all adults, singles and couples, are welcome. Live music will be provided by Joe Vitale. Admission to the dance is $10 per person and tickets are on sale at the Membership Desk of the Y or at the door. Light refreshments will be provided.
