Events guide: Easter and Passover 2012
If your idea of Easter ham is Spam or you just don’t remember how your grandmother made her famous matzo ball soup, just give up and go out. Las Vegas restaurants are putting on quite the spread for both Easter and Passover meals this weekend. There are also many fun Easter family events, from egg hunts to photos with the Easter Bunny. Read on to plan your holiday weekend.

Ethel M is celebrating with festive egg-shaped boxes filled with a peanut butter or fruit truffle assortment.
Payard Patisserie celebrates the holiday with an assorted collection of Easter eggs and Easter bunnies. For the first time, the shop is making a line of eggs in cheetah and zebra print containing dark, milk and white chocolate.
Sugar Factory will have an assortment of holiday baskets, including the Little Peeps Box, Easter Sweet Treat Tower, the Hoppy Easter Gourmet basket and the Easter Bling Bucket. Prices range from $22.95 to $160 for Peter’s VIP basket, which includes marshmallow Peeps, a bunny vanilla sugar cookie, salt water taffy, an Easter character lollipop, peanut butter toffee popcorn, jumbo swirl lollipop, marshmallow kabobs, aquamarine Couture Pop, a milk chocolate bunny and more.
